you may find kicker will eat battery life.
also upgrading to firefox3 (even an alpha) should save some battery
for more information try powertop
very nice write up tho. dont think id get one, it seams abit much when the specs arnt better than my v.old travelmate. also i dont see the need for the mouse a pen system would be better and allow for a bigger keyboard, but then i suppos it would cost more.

£200 a laptop aint bad. especailly as this isnt a cheap 2 bit thing its a good system, stuf this small normally costs more not less

p.s im sure it would be international, but check on xandros website
