Well, I have one of these. I'm not sure how you can compare it to a Mini (the mini costs more and isn't going to work very well without a screen, or keyboard or mouse). This item is for a different market.

I also find it accentuates my Macbook nicely. Full-size laptop and micro.

My only odd complaint is that when you go from an eee with keys all mushed together to a Macbook which has a football field between all of its keys, it really messes with your typing.
