Full disclosure: I'm one of the guys behind Photology.
A couple of quick comments about the feedback here:
1) "Noisey results." We don't claim that Photology will give you perfect recall of your photos, so you will see some results that don't seem to match your search (it's because of statistics). But you will see results that do match your search - focus on those!
2) "It's not Picasa." We don't claim to replace Picasa - it's great for what it does, especially at the price point. Photology provides additional functionality that no one else offers, and that's the capability to search your photos based on what's in them without having to do any manual tagging or organizing.
