Looking for a few good geeks
If you're software obsessed, motivated and, a whiz with english, Download Squad could have a spot for you on our team.
We're looking for a few new faces to join the Squad. You'll cover software like a blanket and, get exposure to a huge audience all while tracking down interviews and news from the big names in the business.
Interested? We thought you might be. All we need from you for consideration are three writing samples and your contact info. For your sample posts, pick topics which Download Squad would cover, and be sure to show us your energy and personality. Nothing sticks out from a pile of applications like well written snark.
So, what are you waiting for? Fire up your newsreader, get those creative juices flowing, and send us your application!

I take it the "send us your application" link is supposed to point somewhere besides the comment section...unless you were planning on posting everyone's submissions here... :D

Is there an age requirement?

Can you be a 17 year old High-School Senior with a deep love of technology and a deep desire to have a job that doesn't require him to move? I'd love to apply but don't know what the job entails in the "moving" department...

It appears there IS an age requirement. Look at the help wanted button, it's got an '18 years or older' stamp. Guess i'm outa the question.

Ryan,
Submit your work anyways.. even if you don't get a "job" but do get to have some work published its worth the experience.. Not to mention at 17, being published (at all) looks good to collage acceptance boards..
Josh
PS: I have no connection what so ever to download squad, its affiliates or its parent company. Just making a suggestion.

This person... this "whiz with english"... he/she would know English is capitalized and whiz is actually wiz - right?
I'm a frequent reader. Please don't mistake this comment as a rip on the site. Or, to put it in your terms, I'm not whizzing on you.
