Online customer service is just as sucky as phone customer service AND takes longer.
Any company that won't allow me to talk to someone about a problem will never get my business.
One thing I find interesting about companies moving their service options to the web is that it makes the customer do MORE work, yet the price of the products doesn't go down. If I buy a product I may no longer get a manual, I get a link to the website where I spend MY time downloading it and MY toner and MY paper printing it. Sure I can do it in my PJs on a Sunday morning when I need to get the thing working, but why isn't the savings being passed on?
