Is Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg in Seattle to talk with Bill Gates about becoming a billionaire, or are they merely talking about the large rumored investment that could be coming down the pipes?Zuckerberg has been spotted around Microsoft's hometown possibly chatting about a reported $500 million, 5% stake in the famous social network, making its valuation hit $10 billion. With many stating that there is no chance that Facebook could be close to that amount, the data of its 43 million users might think otherwise.
It's a highly effective tool for staying in touch while creating an internet identity, and with its individualized profile information it could become an advertising giant. But could that possibly be the price tag?

If Microsoft somehow comes to own Facebook exclusively, I'm gone. IT's great right now (Was better before the apps, but whatever) and they have a tendency to rape anything that is online right up the ass and then rebrand it I Suck At The Internet Live. I want Facebook. Not Facebook Live with an aero theme style. Am I going to put any personal information into a Microsoft product? I think not.

What makes you so sure Microsoft would be dumb enough to do that?
Some people have different opinions, but I'd think that if Facebook managed to lay in Microsoft's hand, it won't be bad. I'd think Microsoft would be smart to leave it alone, or alter it as less as possible.
Microsoft just wants the brand recognition, and how they're into the latest.
Of course, I never hear squabbles coming from Google deals.

Kind of agree with michael, MS may be evil and we all know the stories but a big corporation is a big corporation, if you like Facebook you would want it to stay as is, no difference if its owned by MS, Oracle or the likes.
