what comes first for me when talking about "nice looking" is a combination of visual homogenity and usability. and this is basically what lacks zimdesk (as well as most other webtops unfortunately) - to the best of my knowledge, the only system that makes an actual difference is the online operating system at http://www.oos.cc - or do you know other ones?
