GodTube.com growing at a miraculous rate
True believers say that God is everywhere. While not everyone believes that, believe this: he's online. And he's popular. Maybe not as popular as McDonalds, but still. Faith-based YouTube clone GodTube had a 973% month-on-month growth in August according to Comscore. GodTube's 3 million unique visitors have added over 800,000 hours of video, all religion based. Everything from comedy, to music, to annoying kids with webcams. Basically whatever YouTube's got, but with a strange religious twist.
While it's better than the door-to-door shirt and tie folk trying to convert you, it's still not for everyone. It probably only appeals to those who already have a soft spot for Jesus, or those who find amusement in those who believe with all their heart. If you don't fall into one of these two categories, you'll likely experience anything from mild boredom to slight annoyance while on the site. CEO Chris Wyatt claims that "Jesus 2.0 is the wave of the future" which usually means that it isn't. Wasn't Beta video the wave of the future at one point? How did that work out... Anyway, if you're into Jesus, or into chuckling at people who are, check out this short comedy sketch from GodTube. And you thought the internet was the devils tool.

This is something that I dont understand, I do believe in God, and in Life, but I dont believe in Religion, what is religion ? can you say ? Its a hoax !! Its an exscuse for atrocities and to control people saying that everything is a sin... but can God exist without religion ? you may ask...but I dont know...but I do know that no one had to tell me about God for me to believe in it.

I wonder if they censor non-christian God videos the way youtube censors porn. Any FSM or IPU videos on there?

Sure looks like it has a Christian bent. What about those other religions that also have 'God's? They should sue, or something.

Why in the world was it necessary to put so much equivocation in this post? "Hey, here's something that's popular, but it's weird. You probably won't like it, unless you're weird, or you like to laugh at people who are weird. It's better than getting poked in the eye with a sharp stick, I guess. Anyway, here it is." If you have to do all that, or you can't think of anything better to say, just don't do the post at all.

I agree with Jaceonline's comment. I don't get why you have to make it seem like anybody who believes in God whole heartedly is weird. I personally believe in God and believe in him whole heartedly, and find your post somewhat offensive. Maybe you didn't mean it to be like that, but the fact that you said that people can get a laugh from people believing in God seems like you aren't comfortable with the topic.

I'd like to helpfully point out that a good chunk of those unique visitor hits are people trolling. It's not as popular as one may think, and the mods spend a great deal of time deleting troll videos.

Regarding the post #1 I'm pasting in a defn of religion from Dictionary.com;
"a set of beliefs concerning the cause, nature, and purpose of the universe". I think it's very awesome that you recognize in your own heart the reality of God and His Son Jesus. Yes, it's too bad that mankind out of his own frailties uses control and manipulation, but we must forgive them that do. Check out my own site to see what was the "real" turning point to God for myself. Inside you'll find a testimonial video. http://www.seedsoflove.net

If you believe that something will work-put for you just the way you want it to;then that is called "FAITH".So, when you believe that GOD is real then you have open up your mind to a great experiance that will realy make you feel great and wonderful.We plan for tomorrow because we believe that it will come; so plan on JESUS returning because it's surely is going to come, one day and it not to long away.

I believe in the God all mighty as I know in my heat as on the night I lost my son I prayed that God would be there to greet him.
As soon as I had prayed that the room went bright and I saw my son standing there with such a glow all around hem. And felt that he was now safe in Gods arms.
I know that one day I well be with hem in heaven.
praise the lord.
