Mozilla is jumping on the 'back to school' bandwagon to ensure that students get the most out of their online experience with a new "Firefox Campus Edition" download.Announced last week, the Campus Edition of Firefox comes bundled with a few extras including:
- FoxyTunes - allows you to control almost all media players, find videos, CD covers, videos, band bios all within Firefox.
- StumbleUpon - browse the web and find websites, videos, images all based on your interests.
- Zotero - collects, manages and cites research sources from within Firefox.

StumbleUpon does not help with productivity, in fact it is one of the greatest enemies of productivity. It's a really awesome addon and it definitely is fun, but it is by no means a tool, it is a toy.

@HardwareGuy: You're right, except I've actually found a great site that I might use for an upcoming paper through StumbleUpon. Granted, the signal to noise ration is still very high, but in my experience, StumbleUpon hasn't proved entirely useless.
I have no experience with Zotero, but I know FoxyTunes is a great add-on. As a personal aside, I wish they would've also included AdBlock(Plus), ForecastFox (handy for knowing when to bring an umbrella around campus), BugMeNot (for log-ins to sites that shouldn't need them), and Live Bookmarks in the toolbar for student-oriented sites, similar to what Safari has.
