Trouble in the Amazon
First an NFL player gets in a bunch of trouble for dog fighting, and now Amazon gets their feathery tails in little issue surrounding the sale of cockfighting magazines. It seems that Amazon is making animal activists a little disgusted with the fact that they are involved with the selling of illegal 'sports' magazines, and the Humane Society has stepped in to file a civil lawsuit. Amazon believes that they should not act as a censor, and that the magazines are legal to sell, even though they run advertisements for blades that attach to birds legs with the sole purpose of inflicting fatal injuries.
A lawyer representing the publisher of one of the magazines says that "The bottom line is as long as its legal someplace, you're not advertising an illegal activity." A search on Amazon.com for "cockfighting" returned results not only for raising cockfighting birds, but for raising and training fighting dogs.
| Yes, promoting animal cruelty is wrong. | |

| No, its their choice what they want to sell through their store. |

I can't believe that I'm in the minority when I voted against selling this garbage! While I totally support the sale of High Times, I think this stuff is just bad, how would you like it if the turkeys revolted (remember that SouthPark episode?!)?
