Trouble in the Amazon

Trouble in the AmazonFirst an NFL player gets in a bunch of trouble for dog fighting, and now Amazon gets their feathery tails in little issue surrounding the sale of cockfighting magazines.

It seems that Amazon is making animal activists a little disgusted with the fact that they are involved with the selling of illegal 'sports' magazines, and the Humane Society has stepped in to file a civil lawsuit. Amazon believes that they should not act as a censor, and that the magazines are legal to sell, even though they run advertisements for blades that attach to birds legs with the sole purpose of inflicting fatal injuries.

A lawyer representing the publisher of one of the magazines says that "The bottom line is as long as its legal someplace, you're not advertising an illegal activity." A search on Amazon.com for "cockfighting" returned results not only for raising cockfighting birds, but for raising and training fighting dogs.

Do DLS readers think that Amazon should drop cockfighting magazines, as well as any material that relates to animal cruelty from its store?
Yes, promoting animal cruelty is wrong.179 (43.2%)
No, its their choice what they want to sell through their store.235 (56.8%)
