Shaun is an excellent coder and designer. Mint isn't the only thing he's worked on. He also has had his hands in sIFR and was the person (that I'm aware of) to integrate color into his blog to signify the passing of time for his entries.

I've never seen him speak, but he is presenting at the Think Tank AIGA design conference Nashville. If you're in the SouthEast, you should check it out.
