Four more cities added to Google street View
Google has added Street View imagery for 4 additional cities: Orlando, Houston, San Diego, and Los Angeles. The San Diego Street Views feature high-resolution imagery similar to that used in San Francisco.
Of course, the first thing anyone does when Google announces new features is indulge their inner voyeur by seeking out the strangest possible street views. So far, the best we've found is a Stormtrooper on Hollywood Boulevard and a photo glitch that makes these two women look like they're being sucked into a digital vortex, feet first.
Anyone got something better/more bizarre?

This is actually outside the entrance to my condo complex in San Diego. Make the view face southeast and it looks like some sort of ufo coming thru a tornado. Weird.

Hmmm...just another observation. They did these shots some time ago. Only reason I noticed is because you can see Six Flags Astroworld, and it was demolished last year.

kinda neat, I stumbled on this earlier, just by chance, I was looking up some directions, and saw the blue highlighted roads in my area...kinda neat seeing it from the google van view :P
yea, I too wonder how long ago these were taken...Im sure there must have been some screening or whatever in between.
Kinda weird though, I followed SR-520 all the way to the I-95 ramp, and then the van must have turned off the camera, cause it wouldn't go any further....maybe they ran out of tape? err...tape? Come on, it's google, they are digital aren't they? haha.
