Make cool comic strips with Comic Life

If you're a budding comic artist looking for an easy way to put together a few strips, then give Comic Life a try. Developed by Plasq, the people who rock our socks with Skitch, Comic Life makes it super-simple to put together comics of all shapes and sizes, from a single frame to a full mutli-panel design with fancy layouts.

To get started, simply decide how many panels you want, drag and drop pictures from your computer into each field, add a speech balloon, and there you have it. Once you get used to the basic features, move on to the included tools that let you filter your pictures to look hand-drawn, painted, and more.

There's a Mac version available for $24.95 and new beta version for Windows that's free while under development. If you download Comic Life now, you'll have plenty of time to make a few strips to upload at Zuda, the new DC Comics website that will host amateur comics beginning in October.
