I tried to download one of the apps on this list (RockXP) and Avast alerted me it contained malware. Ironic, since Avast is on the list too.

While downloading RockXP [768 KB | Freeware | Win XP] RockXP can help you to easily retrieve your XP product key as well as any other keys for your other Microsoft products. This may not sound like a big deal, but it can be if you need to reinstall a program and you've misplaced the product key information.
McaFee as well as WIndows Defender stopped it as a serious problem, with virus detected.
Is this a false positive or does it have a virus piggy backing on it?

I appreciate the information, but a REAL help would be to put all the files into a ZIP file for me to download all with one click...
No comment yet on the trojans - I'll see what AVG says about them...

AVG anti-spy/virus did not complain about the downloads. Usually SnapFiles is pretty good about making sure they don't give you bad stuff!

Although I haven't used "KeePass Password Safe", I have been using "Password Safe" (by Counterpane Systems) for years and recommend it. Note that the later is open source.
