Tubes - new accounts will be 1GB instead of 2GB soon

If you are interested in trying Tubes out, you may want to get a leg on, as they will be cutting back data storage from the current 2 GB size to 1GB sometime soon.

Hey Dolores, thanks for the mention!
You got it right, everyone already in the system will get to keep their free 2GB account when we drop it down soon, and we started selling premium accounts that include 5GB for $4.99. We're also working on a pricing structure for our users that want more storage than that, stay tuned.
Thanks,
Dave @ Tubes

This seems odd. While everyone else is upping their storage amount(to infinity and beyond for some), they are lowering an already small number. Guess this is why I've never heard of them.

Tubes app is really RAM hungry. Didn't like it
I'm really happy with making backups @ Mozy (2GB for free)
