Web 2.0 for sale!

Have you always wanted your own Web 2.0 but didn't know where to buy one? Steve Polland of the site TequillaShots and TechCrunch recently launched the site Web2.0forsale to help you find the 2.0 company you've been looking for.

The site allows 2.0 companies to post their site for sale, or URL owners to post a domain name for 30 days for the low low price of $10. Right now there's not a huge amount posted, but the site also hasn't been live for very long which might have something to do with it.

Currently the site works more as a bulletin board where for sale items are posted with contact information, buyers do as you please. The site doesn't have any kind of on-site check-out procedure or way to prove that the seller really does own what they claim to be selling which is a huge issue when you're talking about spending in some cases $30,000 or more on something. eBay (which is probably the sites biggest competitor) charges a hefty fee, but sometimes that can be worth it to know what you're buying is legit.
