Yahoo to provide music for Sandisk MP3 players
Is Yahoo about to go head to head with Apple and the iPod? Not quite, but they have announced their entry into the music providing service. Yahoo is teaming up with Sandisk to tfeed the Sansa Connect Mp3's via a built in WiFi connection allowing for songs to be downloaded from Yahoo's Music service without linking up to a PC. The device is available with both free and paid subscription services from Yahoo's Music service.
The Sansa came out in January, and is apparently the number 2 seller in the MP3 player field behind the iPod.

Anyone dubious, trust me, this feature is great. Great. I LOVED having Audible available via WiFi with my Aireo a few years ago(!).
People might think it's a gimmick-- it's not. I will buy one of these now.
