There are some rideshare websites, and a few websites for sharing taxi. A very good rideshare website is GishiGo. It helps you exchange identity, and kinda filter out the people who are all talk, but don't show up for rideshare. This is unfortunately a big drawback to free anonymous websites like Craigslist (though CL has the most eyeballs). You can more easily spot the annoying CL people when they refuse to put up 99 cents for the GishiGo post. Many people play that very annoying B.S. game ... GishiGo helps you identify those people. Helps you build confidence in the rideshare participants.
