Windows Live Search Mobile updated
After spending a few months in beta, Windows Live Search for Mobile has gone... live. The update includes a couple of bug fixes, and a bunch of new features including the ability to save search results on a Windows Mobile phone and send them via SMS to your friends. The contact list has also been integrated into Live search, meaning you can quickly get directions to the locations of people in your contact list.
There's also support for more non-Windows Mobile phones.

Very nicely done. I've been using it around Seattle and I have to say I'm impressed. To make it even more challenging, I took out the memory card on my Smartphone. Still worked well. I'm almost surprised how detailed the street pictures are when you zoom all the way in.

I just downloaded this program yesterday and I'm still struggling with it. When I try to zoom in on my street where I live (in Corona, CA), it just centers on the middle of town before I zoom in far enough to see my house... Also, I'm having one hell of a time getting my Pharos Bluetooth GPS receiver to connect (although it work perfectly on Microsoft Pocket Streets-go figure). I'm using a Cingular (the New AT&T?) Samsung Blackjack by the way (with Windows Mobile).
I will admit the maps are nicer and more detailed, however ever since Google updated their "Google Maps" to elminate Java, I really like it.... If they get their GPS functionality working, their will be kicking MS's butt soon (although I can't get MS GPS working)...
If anyone has had better luck, I would like any help they could provide...

Leif, good luck on anything with a bluetooth connection. I don't care much for it on the razor phone. How you doing? I am guessing as to whether this is the same Mr. Grane I knew in SD. If it is send me an email, be great to hear from you. Its just my name at msn.
