Yahoo! has really been jumping lately with quite a few new releases. From the new Vista specific
instant messaging application, to the
GPS local search and
Go 2.0, Yahoo has really been on the move to take back some of its lost market share. Now they are building on their famous finance platform and extending it out past the investment portfolio. Yahoo! has
brought in a site to help users manage their personal finances. This new site is filled with some great how-to guides like mortgage basics, tax charges, managing dept and credit, small business finance, budgeting for a baby, financing a new car, and buying your first home. A set of calculators will also help you out. This list includes a mortgage calculator, spending calculator, payroll adjustments, college cost calculator, and retirement savings calculator. There are many more in the banking and budgeting, career and work, college and education, family and home, insurance, loans, real estate, retirement, and tax categories. Yahoo! also dropped in expert advice and daily rates for mortgage, home equity, CDs, and auto loans. The Yahoo! personal finance website is a clean and easy to get around destination. It's a great link to add to your bookmarks list that provides a ton of up to date and reliable personal financial information.

Yahoo site is OK - maybe just a bit too basic. If you need some serious finance analysis I'd recommend a personal finance software by Australian business Parcus Group.
Great little program with features including budgeting, financial planning, real estate analysis, shares valuation, life insurance...
Costs US$24 so it's not a huge investment but absolutely great value for money in terms of calculation and amount of information you get.
You can get it on http://www.parcusgroup.com/index.html
