What's your favorite online bookmarking service, and why? - Ask DLS
Social bookmarking has taken off in a huge way, and nowadays we have more options than you can shake a mouse at. My personal favorite is del.icio.us, not simply because it was the first (or one of?), but more because of all the tools that hook in and provide access to my bookmarks. Delibar is a great Mac OS X utility that provides access from the menubar, and we also found Deliwin that provides the same functionality for all y'all rolling with Windows. But for me, the killer feature is being able to call my bookmarks from the beauty of Quicksilver, my die-without-it, Mac OS X swiss army knife of an app launcher and file manipulator.But enough about me - what say you, DLS readers? Did you leave del.icio.us in the dust months ago? Perhaps you prefer the more community-focused Ma.gnolia, or any of the other zillions of options that have arisen. Tell us what your favorite online bookmarking service is, and why, and we'll tally the results on Monday.

I use a combo bookmarklet of Blogmarks, My Web, Magnolia and Blinklist. I'll probably drop Blogmarks. I have a delicious account but it bothers me that there's only one word tags.

Although I really like Ma.gnolia's beautiful design, I use del.icio.us for its simplicity.
I'm keeping an eye on Yahoo's new bookmarks beta though: http://beta.bookmarks.yahoo.com/

I am using Ma.gnolia. Good feature set, easy bookmarking, and great social options, and generally more appealing to look at. I moved away from Del.icio.us to get access to spaces in my tags, and to have the ability to keep more information in the description field.

I run a local install of Scuttle, which is an open source delicious clone (http://sourceforge.net/projects/scuttle/) that you can run on your own machine. I prefer the privacy of keeping my private bookmarks outside of someone else's reach.
I also use FoxMarks to sync bookmarks between different machines, although lately I've been trying out Google's browser sync extension.

Wouter - Take a look at Scuttle (http://sourceforge.net/projects/scuttle/).
It basically lets you run a private del.icio.us service on your own server.

I've been torn between del.icio.us and Ma.gnolia. Ma.gnolia's very PRETTY, and I do love the community aspect, but I've found the interface to be a bit slow. del.icio.us is fast, simple, and there's simply more STUFF out there for it (Firefox plugins and the like) -- so I'm currently a del.icio.us user.

I've tried a lot of services, But I always come back to del.icio.us. It just works. Other services are prettier, but they lack a certain something. Blinklist http://www.blinklist.com/ was a promising service for awhile, but when they recently rolled out a bunch of new features, they started having a lot of problems and I stopped using it. They might my doing better now.

I would use ma.gnolia, from what i've seen as a bookmarker it is fundamentally better in the social side than delicious. However the delicious firefox extension currently means that delicious provides better bookmarking so until a rich ma.gnolia frirefox extension is developed i'm keeping with delicious

i use delicious. i like the simple interface, and although it isn't fast by any means, everything else seems to be even slower

I love Google Bookmarks, they are private, you can label them and you have a easy access via 2 great FF extensions: GMarks or Google Bookmarks Button (Gmarks are more advanced).

I just switched from del.icio.us to Blue Dot and am very happy. I'm less concerned with the social aspect than I am with a solid interface. The Firefox extension they have works very well (as does the bookmarklet) and seems a little more fluid than the various del.icio.us tools I've used.

Spinacz in Polish means "paper-clip"
It is something that goes as "nerdy" MySpace + del.icio.us, unfortunately only Polish version yet.
However I still use my del.icio.us account to see what is going on with my international friends bookmarks.

Call me the token Furl fan. It saves the page as well as the link for future searching. Also it uses categories more than tags so you don't have to think of a bunch of tags or remember how you categorize links.
The problem with Furl is it's lack of popularity. There aren't any goodies (extensions, plug-ins) built on it unlike de.licio.us.
This week they updated the save page making it more de.licio.us-like. I'm not sure I like it yet.
