I must admit now the Apple comes into it's own with the inclusion of VMWare. As nice as parallels was the ability the VMware player has to create images and integrate with the pre-built community cannot be overlooked.
One thing I have noticed is installing the VMware drivers into the guest OS makes use silky smooth .. only fired in a base Ubuntu distro so far but XP is the one I am dreading, due to use on USB for many oddball drivers (yes I am aware of bootcamp just not as flexible)
On the whole though I have virtualisation once more and feel a heck of a lot happier now.
