Sid Meier's Railroad Tycoon now freeware - Today's Time Waster
I have fond memories of playing this game on my first computer, a 25 MHz 486 with a whopping 4 MB of RAM. Sid Meier's Railroad Tycoon is now being given away for free by it's publisher, 2K Games, via Fileshack. It comes bundled with, and runs inside of, the DOSBox emulator, and also includes the manual and copy protection reference sheet. Go and get your retro on!

"manual copy protection"...here's a question, the answer's in the manual. Bested only by Leisure Suit Larry's, "If you're old enough to play this game, you should know the answer to this question" age-verification system.
Those were the days...

I loved that game. I think I'm going to hate you for bringing me this news.
