So, I want to know today is: what technology did you buy yesterday? Did you buy any software for your loved ones, or for yourself? What do you consider the hot items this season? Is Zune at the top of your list, or anywhere else? What about cell phones, PC's, printers, software? What does this holiday season look like for you and those you are buying for? I am thinking about buying a new PC, but only because the prices are good. I just wondered what your technology forecast was the holiday season. Feel free to give it to me, which software and tech products will do well, survive, not be around next year? Thoughts?

I scored a pretty cool little iPod alarm clock/dock yesterday for $30.
Otherwise I was too late for any of the other sales. :(

Bought a 42 inch Hitachi plasma HDTV from Circuit City. I bought it online and picked it up and the store. No lines, no having to deal with pushy salespeople.

I was all ready to go to Best Buy and stand in line for the Westinghouse too, but I figured that A) i didn't need a television, and B) I didn't want to wait in line.
So around noon I rolled over to our local target to try and get the GENERIC 20" lcd tv, but they were out.
Instead, I picked up two of these things http://www.target.com/gp/detail.html/sr=11-1/qid=1081414259/ref=sr_11_1/602-0138511-8144633?asin=B000JCXUB0 , one for my second monitor and one to replace my friends CHEAPO 17".
So far I've been pretty pleased.

I picked up a 42" Panasonic plasma TV at Best Buy yesterday, to use of course as a TV but also for my Mac Mini. I'm really coveting a tablet PC right now, like the new Fujitsu 5112, but the prices are pretty high. As for software, it's hard for me to get psyched about anything but Leopard and Vista.

Biggest thing: Altec Lansing speakers from Staples ($20).
Everything else: Blank CD's, DVD's, and a crapload of photo paper.
I was planning on getting a camera from Circuit City (Casio Z60) and a jacket from Khols, but instead, I got a Casio Z70 from CC w/ a coupon on Monday and the jacket on Tuesday. Similar prices, no lines. Heck yes!

I bought a 52-inch LCD TV for only $999....couldn't resist. Bought Call of Duty 2 and Condemned for Xbox 360, plus a couple of DVDs for family members.

Yesterday my girlfriend got a 24" iMac and saved $101 off the regular price. This thing would make one sweet front end for a HTPC setp-up.
