Google is
rolling out some new Checkout features that could, in the end, make their dreams of a serious PayPal contender a reality. The changes start off at the merchant level with the availability of a coupon creator and an email invoice product. Also, Google is taking out all transaction fees until the end of you year, most likely to get merchants hooked on Checkout for the crazy holidays buying season. I look forward to watching what else Google pulls from its sleeves in trying to make this a must use next gen online payment tool system. What are your experiences with Google Checkout? I have been nothing but pleased, no issues from me. Yet.

I think Google Checkou is wonderful. I wish that more stores would use it. If I see that one store used Google Checkout, I'll use it every time even if the product is a few bucks cheaper elsewhere.

I trust Google far more then I trust PayPal.

My experience using PayPal for my online store has been pretty horrible. I just wish Google Checkout was a option for companies in the UK.

Finally a trustworthy company, taking on the evil PayPal.

As a merchant I haven't used it yet due to some integration issues but I'd love to save a few bucks.
Our biggest issue is shipping. We have live shipping rates from UPS and Post Office on our site but we can't use them when we use G Checkout.
A minor issue is the size and color of the GCheckout icon! It's not modifiable to color or size! So it winds up huge and ugly and we can't do anything about it! Weird for Google to not allow us to change it or provide any alternatives!
Oh yea, they don't send us back the customers email address. Not usually a problem but we like to send out our own tracking number email.

I like Google Checkout but still also offer paypal. checkout is still missing some much needed features like, calculating shipping and tax and having a ship function to print labels for UPS or USPS. I hope checkout is hard at work at making it a full featured offering...
