Track your adventures with EveryTrail
EveryTrail is a nicely designed application that you can use to map out and track your trips. Waypoints, photos, and trip notes can be easily dropped in a Google Map. How does it all work? Start off by creating an account. After that is complete, grab a copy of the EveryTrail GPS Uploader. When your GPS device is connected to your PC, it can be synced up with your choice of which waypoints you want to upload, bringing you into the Create a Trip section. All of your notes and photos can instantly be uploaded and tied to the point you specify. Then, when it's all ready, users can share their travels with friends and family.

This seems to be a great app for adventure travel in any location. I am going to try to set it up for my Ecuador trips and post it in my blog. We'll see what happens ... from what I read I can expect a lot and I am excited!

Promising .. one thing to keep in mind: Every one that travels wants to share their travels with others, btu everyone that travels does not have a GPS. They have a cell phone, that could be pinged to retrieve location information - probably?

Looks OK but I would recommend http://TripTracker.net as a better solution for a travel blog.

Great idea but I agree with the GPS comment. I have taken 3 very long road trips and did not keep track of them on GPS, but would still love to map them. Just need the ability to do multiple points...and I do mean multiple...
