New Boot Camp for Mac
Apple released a new version of Boot Camp on Monday. The 143 MB Boot Camp is Apple's software that lets Intel Macs run Microsoft Windows. This new version adds support for Intel based Macs, with easier partitioning using presets. Apple has also built support for iSight, microphones, and USB modems into the new 1.1.2 version. I guess the most interesting and important new addition to Boot Camp is the support for track pad scrolling on Apple laptops and the use of Apple based keyboard support which includes the Delete, Print Screen, Numlock, and Scroll Lock keys. What do you think? Is the new Boot Camp a hit? How can Apple make it better?

None of the things you listed are actually new, they were in 1.1.1.
The biggest thing apple needs to do is virtualize the boot camp partition. Make it an option to boot at restart (as it is now) AND make it possible to boot windows from inside OS X (i.e. combine the functionality of boot camp and parallels).

Hmm... Support for Intel-based Macs? Am I wrong when I say that's the entire point of Boot Camp, and has been there since the beta?

Dude, this is going to be the true killer app! I've been using this for the longest on my PPC compy, but now that it's out for Mactels, I'm going to use it even more! Might finally have the reason for trading my Cube in for one of those Mac Pros. Viva la Boot Camp con Intel support!
