DriveImage XML, back the truck up verne!
DriveImage XML is a great backup and drive imaging tool. That pretty much says it all. It will create back-ups of in-use drives and even restore files from a drive image without restarting your PC. It works on Windows XP for FAT 12, 16, 32, and NTFS volumes. It took only a minute or two from downloading the app to start backing up, and the backup itself took about as long as you would expect, varying by the size of your drive of course. There is virtually no setup involved, though you can change some options to customize your backup or imaging job. I also like that the images are stored in XML, so it is readable from other tools later on.

Hint, hint: Other than i.e. Acronis TrueImage, DriveImage XML from my experience also manages to backup Windows XP Partitions which have been setup with Boot Camp on Macs.
