Once again the guys at TechCrunch have found an interesting and weird piece of web software.
Marshall says that SwarmTeams doesn't work very well yet, but is an interesting thought (if you think about it). Group communication via SMS, IM, RSS, and VoIP is the goal, and to communicate more like animals. Well, I am guessing they meant "not very well" but I think the original sentiment was to keep people in touch with mass messages to all group participants. The SwarmTeams, um, team is based in Ireland, and charges for the service after a group sends their first 50 messages. It shows promise, and perhaps it works better in Ireland than it does here in the states. Perhaps we will revisit this service down the road, but so far it doesn't seem quite ready.
