I like email, I hate spam. Everyone does. I am also not fond of the fact that every website out there makes me register or sign-up even if I want to just do one thing on the site and be done with it.
Spambox.us will give you a free temporary "Spambox" email address, that you specify how long to keep it open from an hour up to a year. Spambox is available in a lot of languages. I actually really like the SpamMotel.com solution. I can keep them if I need to, or get rid of them and they are delivered to my regular email address until I dump them!

They have plug-ins for Firefox and IE that allow you to right-click on the email field to generate a site specific email address that you can keep as long as you wish and delete whenever you want.

Have to recommend mytrashmail.com, needs no preconfiguration. Just make up the address at the time and then goto mytrashmail.com and go to the box. Emails are for all to see or private boxes can be used if you register.

Although it works differently, http://www.bugmenot.com is another alternative to registering on the site. There is also a Firefox extensions for Bugmenot at http://roachfiend.com/archives/2005/02/07/bugmenot/ to help automate the process.

spamgourmet.com -- you can use their system without ever visiting the site after the initial sign-up. Free, easy. You control how many e-mails get through before they start blocking the forwards.

How about Mailinator.com? The only downside is you can't keep your temp inbox for more than 24 hours.

Another nice one-stop solution: I've been using http://www.Sneakemail.com for several years. It lets you maintain anonymous aliases and direct them at will to any of your real addresses. You can then filter mail by alias tags, monitor traffic levels to the various aliases, suspend or delete spam-vitimized addresses, etc.

www.mailnull.com is my choice - free, EASY to set up, multiple addresses kept open as long as you need them (with comments and stats).
SpamMotel and Gishpuppy too complicated - looks like they require downloads to my PC.
Tried to sign up for sneakemail, but I waited forever and never got the comfirmation email??
Mailnator - one-time shot???
Spambox.us can't keep the address open long enough, either. I have several accounts that I WANT to keep open forever just to see who is sending to those addresses. (plus at mailnull, they actuallY LOOK like real addresses...)
Simple is better for this type of application.
