Webshots photo storage
Webshots is a site from CNet for browsing digital photographs, uploading photo galleries, or downloading photos from other users. There are currently over 387 million photos on the system in categories from flowers and bird to space and Japan. Webshots members have two account options. A free account can store and share 1,000 photos, plus 100 more for each month of membership. It also includes the ability to upload from mobile devices. The premium account members have no ads, 5,000 photos with 500 more for each month of membership, and the ability to download hi-res pro shots, all for $2.49 per month. Webshots is a great free, easy to use, online photo storage and sharing tool, with a clean interface. The free account looks like it could be good for the average user, especially with the additional 100 photos each month. However, if you take pictures like crazy, it might be good to spend the extra $2.50 a month.

According to their site, the numbers are 240/5,000 for free/premium. My account was opened December 27, 1999. Is there any way to tell how many I can upload?
Also, you really need to check out www.Fotki.com - I did a small writeup on them a while back at:

I've got over 10,000 photos uploaded there, and the kicker is, I can redownload all of the originals in their full size & glory via FTP. None of this download one-at-a-time stuff. They have about 10 or 12 methods of uploading, private and public folders, and unlimited storage for $30/year. Can you say off-site backup?

This site used to provide free download of original size photos. Now people can only get photo at 800x600 max. What a disappointment.
