BlackWidow website copier
BlackWidow is a great application for copying the entire contents of a website, and even works well with most security-enabled websites to copy the site's files. BlackWidow employs a Net Spy utility, has support for many languages, even custom ones, and allows site directory browsing, as if you had opened the remote server's files in Windows Explorer. BlackWidow's plug-in system is extensive, and allows the creation of your own custom plug-ins to handle any site that is nefariously difficult. I have been using BlackWidow for some time now to help with web development and security efforts. It makes quick work of downloading all site files.

OH - MY - F*CKING - GOD !!
I wouldn't think to see that app again !!. I used that application about 7 years ago, because it also could rip Shockwave files and thus games. And because I just had a crappy 28k8 connection back than I couldn't play online games, online. So I just ripped them to my harddisc and played them offline. That worked great... I don't know the app know but it's nice to see it again..
Just download it if you have a crappy connection and you want to play Shockwave of Flash flies from your HDD. Have phun !

When someone was using this tool to download content from my web site, without my permission, I used this mod_rewrite rule to block it.
RewriteCond %{http_USER_AGENT} ^blackwidow
RewriteRule /* - [F]

I prefer the free (GPL) website copier HTTrack.

I use it to back up my blog periodically.
