I'm not currently a Netflix
subscriber, but I loved the service when I was (and even moreso for reintroducing the word "queue" into the American lexicon). This week Netflix launched Netflix Mobile
, which lets you do the most important tasks that you can do on the standard Netflix web site, like viewing and changing your queue and browsing new movies, but from your mobile phone or PDA. I can see this being very useful when you're out with friends and someone recommends a movie to you--you can add it to you queue then and there, instead of waiting to get home and hoping you don't forget about it. Hacking Netflix
has a few more details and several screenshots of Netflix Mobile in action.
