Google fixes Calendar and Notifier for Mac users
Google has always been a little slow at developing its applications for Mac users. Google Calendar and Gmail Notifier for the Mac platform have always had performance issues, especially in Safari. But not anymore. The Google Blog has just informed us that the Mac Team has been working on creating better user experiences for Mac users, and have just released better Safari support for Google Calendar, and a Mac upgrade for the Gmail Notifier. Calendar now works perfectly with Safari, and Notifier now has notifications for upcoming events and unread mail, as well as new icons and custom sounds.

I downloaded it, and deleted gmail notifier before I thought to test it out, it won't open Firefox, when I click "Go to inbox" or an unread messege, nothing happens.

I wish they would work on the Windows version as much as the Mac version. No real updates since 2004.

I tried embedding a google calendar of mine on my chorus website (it's one of the members only pages called "rehearsal schedule". You can access it using the username: member and password: paulabiran.) It works okay in safari aqt first, but then after a while it no longer appears. The site was developed using rapidweaver, and I have tried adding the calendar in their iFrame page template using the URL pulled from your site for embedding Gooogle calendars. I also tried pasting the HTML code from your site into an HTML page template. The third method I tried was using the page template for an Offsite page. All of the pages initially worked in safari, but then stopped. The page still works in Firefox and Internet Explorer.
