I know this is unfair, but the actual act of promoting GTD creates the appearance of people that spend more time each day straightening and reshuffling their desk, that actually just digging into the work (although it is a system for just digging in, there is a lot of parading and gesturing about the meta-method that seems the antithessis of this, making busy work)
