Put Pandora in the system tray
I love Pandora, but until now using it meant either an extra tab in Firefox or an extra item cluttering up the Windows taskbar. Until now, that is, because Daniel Mackey has released Pandora's Box (okay, actually "Pandoras Box," but I can't bear to leave out that apostrophe), a little app for Windows that acts as a "wrapper" for the Pandora player and lets you minimize it to the system tray (that place on the taskbar next to the clock with all the little icons) just like most other music players.[Via Digg]

This is a sweet app. As an added bonus, it doesn't display the ad window any more! Download this one quickly; I have a feeling the Music Genome Project won't be too keen on a wrapper that eliminates the need for the subscription (to remove the ads, anyway...)

There is another app called OPEN PANDORA. It has minimze to tray, but also it shows song and artist name in the title bar and in the tray icon tooltip, and it send played song details to Microsoft Messenger
