Google is working with the University of California to scan a few more million books from 100 libraries across their 10 campuses

Search Engine Strategies in San Jose saw a nice little conversation between Danny Sullivan and Google CEO Eric Schmidt. Among other things, they spoke about destroying search data.

Your searches are safe with Google

Google is planning to set up a server farm in India. Not many details have been released about this secretive operation as of yet.

Google is looking at developing a larger Canadian Research and Development office holding close to 200 staff in total. The facility would be based in southern Ontario, and would hold marketing and sales staff as well. Currently Google rents out office space in the downtown core.

Google has issued a Press Release on the MySpace deal. Everything is covered here, including the other properties it is working with in the Fox Interactive deal, like IGN, Rotten Tomatoes, TeamXbox, CheatsCodesGuides.com and more.

Google jet disclosure case settled
Brin and Page sued the designer of their wild jet over a breach of contract over the release of design details over the refurbishing of their Boeing 767. Both parties in the case have decided to settle the dispute.
