This is great news! (I hope) When I first started offering Remote Instant Tech Support I thought for sure Hamachi was the way to go! Even though it is zero configuration, there was still too much to do to easily walk someone through the installation over the phone. That is why I decided to go with LogMeIn Rescue. I hope we will soon see a graphical Mac and Linux client! I spoke to a tech a few days ago and he did not mention the acquisition, I happened to be calling to ask if they had plans on being able to remote with Mac. He told me it can be done so long as you are Running Firefox, not Safari and you need The latest Java installed. I do -- but could not get it to work. Kept saying I needed to be using a Win32 OS. I tried using User Agent Switcher to fool it into thinking I was running XP, it started to work... acted like it was downloading a technician console, but never did anything... Anyone have any luck with this??
