What is your favorite, most cherished Firefox add-on? Some of mine are
Gmail Manager,
Colorzilla,
IEtab,
Download StatusBar,
Viamatic Foxpose,
Performancing,
Tab Mix Plus,
GooglePreview,
Googlepedia,
AdBlock,
FlashBlock,
Gmail Skins, and
DownThemAll. What makes the best mix of Firefox add-ons is never the same for anyone. Everyone has different preferences and tastes obviously. This is why Firefox has advantages over IE, since IE is not customizable by any means. Your personal style can be adapted to Firefox, not IE particularly. I understand the need for security and privacy online, which is Microsoft's reason for locking down the UI so much, but can't we have security without losing that precious functionality we all crave so much? So, security issues aside, if you were stranded on a dessert island with nothing but Firefox, and only 5 add-ons, what would they be? What are your
personal top five that take all the other extensions milk money? Which five reign supreme? You decide.

I am surprised no one has mentioned Stumble-Upon. This is my number one extension.

I’ve used Fasterfox for quite a while now, and though it occasionally slows down new pages I visit, pages I regularly visit it speeds up surfing a LOT!
I’ve found a link for a tweaked version of Fasterfox, called rather cheesly Fastererfox. It allows you to grab web pages even faster with some new options which can be changed by the rather cool sounding “Thrash” option in the properties box.

My favorites are:
1. Cooliris Previews--faster browsing and sending links*
2. Web Developer--very helpful for web designers
3. FireFTP-- fast and easy way to FTP
4. I.E. Tab--useful if you design websites and need to see how it will look on I.E and Firefox
*Okay, I'm may be a little bit biased on this one since I'm on the Cooliris Team, but seriously, I actually do like it a lot and use it all the time for previewing and for sending links. Macworld, CNET, and PCMagazine have given it a hearty thumbs up, too. :)
Best regards,
Alec

"Turn Your Web Space, Into A Meeting Place".
At last your like minded web visitors can finally Meet, Share and Blog with each other. Imagine what this could mean to their web experience and of course the stickiness of your site. Even the simplest communication and interactivity between your site visitors will produce great results in respects to your site's message, new visits and user loyalty.
