Feel like talking? Nobody online? Well, there's always
Tworl. With Tworl you enter a preferred age range and sex and it connects you with a random AIM who matches, or at least claims to. This seems a little scary to me, but the more adventurous may get a kick out of it. You can also add your screen name and vitals to the Tworl database to let other people be randomly connected to you. Pete Cashmore at Mashable
gave the service a try, but found that none of the random people Tworl hooked him up with responded to his messages.

Guys, if you're going to mention me (and borrow my screenshot) you should at least link back to my post.

Sorry, Pete--just an oversight on my part. Thanks for the heads-up.

No prob - thanks for the fix. By the way, I saw that you'd inserted the link because there's a splogger reposting all your stuff and it showed up in my vanity feeds.
Finally, a use for splogs! :)
