World Firefox Day was on Saturday, July 15, and I missed it! Timed to coincide with the Mozilla Foundation's birthday, World Firefox Day is, of course, a day to celebrate the strides Firefox has made and, more importantly (or at least that's the impression the web site gives) to get more people to use it. To that end, if, between now and September 15, you get just one friend to download Firefox, you and your friend will be immortalized both in "an interactive Firefox friends display that will be accessible from within Firefox 2" as well as "a digital wall that will display the names of everyone who participates in Firefox Day" at the Mozilla headquarters in Mountain View, CA. That's kinda cool, I guess.

Great that should teach me to convince everyone *before* this day to use Firefox ;-)
