Mozilla FirefoxThough we're still waiting on the first beta release of Firefox 2.0 (which was supposed to be released today but has been pushed back to later this week), BetaNews is reporting that Firefox has passed the 15% mark for market share in the U.S. That's according to web analytics comany OneStat.com, which says Firefox's worldwide market share is 12.9%, and has some pretty impressive numbers in places like Germany (39%) and Australia (24.2%). Meanwhile, Internet Explorer's reach has fallen to 79.8% in the U.S. and 83% worldwide, Apple's Safari has holds 3.3% of the U.S. market and 1.8% worldwide, and Opera has inched forward to 1% of the global market.
