Business 2.0 is running a fairly scathing article titled
10 People Who Don't Matter with the even more scathing subtitle "Not everyone with a fancy title really counts. From Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer on down, here are the people you can safely snub at conferences." It's essentially a list of people in high places who aren't, in the opinion of Business 2.0's editors, making much of a difference. Ballmer's crowning position at the top of the list-they call him a lame duck-is unsurprising, but some of the remaining nine may-or may not-be harder to swallow. Also named are new Sun CEO Jonathan Schwartz, Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg (who proudly turned down a
$570 $750 million buy-out), Linux creator Linus Torvalds, and the entirety of Slashdot.

Just thought I'd point this out... "$570 million" should be 750 million.

What are these people smoking?
Each and every one of those people had a key role in history (bar none). The fact that most are now kicking back and relaxing is irelevant. I wonder who sponsored this lameass article.

This proves again that there are lots of losers in journalistic world and their numbers are growing!!!

That's a very gutsy article. Written by the equally brave 'Business 2.0 Magazine staff'. Not surprising they don't want to put a name behind the drivel.
It's a bright 'we're desperate for attention' piece.
