Airport Express is a great little toy. And while it works great with iTunes, what if you want to send other audio to it, like from RealPlayer or Safari? Enter
Airfoil, from Rogue Amoeba. Airfoil allows you to route nearly any audio to an Aiport Express. Unfortunately, for over a year it's been available only to the Mac OS gang. Rogue just announced a Windows version though, so now you can annoy everyone with those stupid videos and Flash movies you're always playing... It's a beta at this point, but buying it now (for $25) will get you the full version when it's released. That price is a little high in my opinion, especially considering the Express is a good deal for what it does. But if you simply must crank YouTube videos throughout the house, this is the tool to do it.

I don't think video playback works too well - the sound takes a second or two to make it to your stereo. It would be a nice feature, if they could figure out how to keep it synced.

Open up your mind. How about streaming Sirus, xm or Pandora thought your house?
