If you really want to learn
more about your
favorite publicly traded tech company, I highly recommend
reviewing their financials. And covering that beat is the newly born
Blogging
Stocks, a close cousin to Download Squad (see that blogroll on the right?). They'll be covering companies like
Microsoft and
Google, not to mention any other companies interested in
technology, like, uh,
all of them. For instance, my favorite blogger has to be
Anne Metz, after writinga rather cheeky
New world (wide
web) order: AOL, News Corp, Disney summit. Let's see, News Corp owns MySpace, Disney is partly owned by Steve Jobs,
and AOL (parent company of Download Squad) invented the Buddy List ;) And hey, here's a neat thing on
MyNME,
a free, legal online music sharing service. About the only thing I really know about stocks is that I told everyone
to buy Apple when it was around $16 a share. Too bad I didn't buy any. Anyway, go to Blogging Stocks for the financial
skinny, stay for the tech tidbits.
