
Lifehacker Gina Trapani has
written a great tutorial for
automatically
e-mailing yourself file backups. While e-mail isn't a great place to store an entire system backup, my 2.7 GB of
Gmail space is enough to store my My Documents folder 50 times over, and being able to securely access important files
from anywhere is priceless. As with many of Lifehacker's tutorials, the process takes some fiddling, but uses free
software and gets the job done.
