Copernic Desktop Search 2.0 Beta
The newest version of of Copernic Desktop
Search—2.0—is now in
beta. The beta isn't feature-complete, but includes a ton of changes, including a redesigned UI, significant
performance improvements, simultaneous searching in all categories, smart query corrections ("Did you
mean..."), saved searches, wildcards, and a completely redesigned deskbar. You might recall that late last year
Copernic was acquired by
meta-search company Mamma.com, so it's nice to know that that hasn't impeded their development process. Copernic
