No rewrite for Windows Vista

MicrosoftFollowing up on our report earlier today of rumors that 60% of Windows Vista's code would be rewritten before its release, Microsoft uber-blogger Robert Scoble says it's "absolutely not true," and the rumors that developers from the Xbox 360 team had been brought in to fix Vista's Media Center functionality are equally untrue. There's room for a little doubt, here—Scoble's source is Microsoft's PR department, after all—but I'm inclined to believe him and save my Vista worries for another day.
