Gentoo founder leaves Microsoft

MicrosoftAccording to ZDNet UK, Gentoo Linux founder and lead developer Daniel Robbins has quit his job at Microsoft, having been with the company only eight months. Robbins, who worked in an "educational" role in Microsoft's Linux and Open Source Lab, says he left due to frustration over being unable to use all of his technical skills in Redmond. He's accepted a job as CTO of ABC Coding Solutions in his home town of Albuquerque. Chris Gianelloni, Gentoo's release engineering lead, says the Gentoo project will be unaffected by Robbins' move.
