My buddy Wise (a real DJ) would cringe at the
sight of this app. It's a mouse-based loop scratcher. Torment the cats! It's pretty simple: load an audio file, then
get to whippin' that mouse around for those crazy DJ scratch noises. There are scant settings, which I suppose is a
good thing... Anyway, it's a very simple app, with one real purpose. Great for working in apps like Acid though, making
your own scratch loops. The developer could probably refrain from using all those exclamation points in the description,
but at least it's Y2K compliant, which is why it still works, right? AnalogX makes a bunch of crazy apps, so if Scratch
isn't your cup of tea, there might be something else on the site to interest you...

I've been using Scratch v1.05 during the past year, and while it's sometimes difficult to get a useable scratch recorded, it's certainly fun to play around with.

this one is an oldie, but as an audio specialist, it makes me happy to see analogx getting a little bit of spotlight. they do make some other really useful things though, like their rhyming dictionary and several others. great site for anyone who works with audio on an even semi regular basis.
